I am a 29 year old Computer Scientist interested in Artificial Intelligence. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, chess, poker, watching cricket and reading science fiction.
At the moment I am working on various aspects of Monte-Carlo Tree Search, General Atari 2600 Game Playing and a second attempt at an approximate AIXI agent.
PhD Work
I investigated some practical aspects of Marcus Hutter's AIXI agent, a Bayesian optimality notion for reinforcement learning. My thesis is now available.

Background
I grew up in Penrith, later moving to Sydney to study at UNSW. I now live in Edmonton.
